Join Muslim Hikers for an unforgettable coastal adventure in the stunning North York Moors National Park. This unique route blends rugged coastline, historic trails, and breathtaking scenery, making it a must-do for any outdoor enthusiast.

Our journey begins in Ravenscar, known as “the town that never was,” offering panoramic views of the North Sea and dramatic coastal cliffs. We’ll set off along the Cinder Track, a disused railway line with a fascinating industrial past, before descending into the smugglers’ haven of Robin Hood’s Bay—a picturesque fishing village with cobbled streets and charming seaside character.

Halfway through, we’ll enjoy a well-earned break at YHA Boggle Hole, where tea and cake await us in a stunning beachfront setting. From there, we’ll return via the Cleveland Way National Trail, following an exhilarating clifftop path with sweeping views of the Yorkshire coastline. Along the way, we’ll pass the historic alum works, once the heart of Britain’s dyeing industry, now a peaceful site rich in heritage.

This hike is a perfect blend of coastal beauty, historical intrigue, and rewarding walking, making it an ideal day out for both experienced hikers and those new to the trails.

Whether you’re an experienced hiker or just looking for a memorable day outdoors, this hike offers stunning scenery, rich history, and an incredible sense of community.

All are welcome regardless of religious background or ability.
