Muslim Hikers Completes Landmark “Hike Al Andalus” Journey

Muslim Hikers has successfully completed its flagship international experience, Hike Al Andalus, bringing together 70 participants from across the world for a powerful week of heritage, reflection, and connection.

The sold-out trip welcomed a diverse global community, with participants travelling from the UK, across Europe, the US, Kuwait, and as far as Malaysia, a true reflection of the growing international reach of Muslim Hikers.

Demand for the experience was unprecedented, with over 100 people on the waiting list, highlighting the increasing appetite for meaningful, community-led travel experiences rooted in faith, culture, and the outdoors.

A Journey Beyond Hiking

Hike Al Andalus is not simply a hiking trip, it is a journey through history, identity, and belonging.

From exploring the legacy of Islamic Spain in Córdoba and Madinat al-Zahra, to shared moments in the mountains and evenings spent in reflection, the experience brought together individuals from different walks of life under a shared purpose.

A Space for Belonging

For many, the impact of the trip went far beyond the itinerary.

Carolina, a participant who embraced Islam just one year ago, shared:

Reflecting on the journey, founder Haroon Mota shared:

“What we witnessed on this trip was something truly special. Bringing together 70 people from different parts of the world, different backgrounds and stages in their journey, and seeing them connect so deeply, is exactly why Muslim Hikers exists.
